Welcome!!!
This is the new blog for the WV CADCA Association. Hopefully, coalitions from throughout the state will have an opportunity to post information on here and be able to share the trials and tribulations of coalition work. I will post a link to this blog on the www.coalitionsforabetterwv.org website and perhaps we can all use this new form of communication to open dialogue amongst ourselves. Drop on, drop in and drop a line on what's happening with your community coalition!G

Hey WV CADCA. There are some changes in the mix. In the next few months, many of you will need to update your registration with the state Association and CADCA because of shifts in duties/financial obligations. With SPF SIG coming to a close for many counties, we want to help you continue your journey on making your community drug free as much as possible. Therefore, if you have not already done so, please send me the most up to date contact information on your coalition.
In addition. please use the blog feature to let me know what interests you most. I think could be an excellent way to share information and stories about your coalition. We can all learn by each other.

TRAINING!
Don't forget about the training on April 9 and 10 in Charleston entitled "Beyond the Basics"! It will be a great training for those coalitions looking to expand thier horizons and possibly get a Drug Free Communities grant in the coming year or so. Call me @ CCI and let me know if you can be there.
Scholarships are given to the first 20 that respond.
